We hope you have all had an enjoyable and restful summer. As you begin to look ahead to the new school year, we’d like to remind you of the outreach opportunities available free of charge from the Cobb County Water System’s Water Efficiency department. This year, along with a new staff member, we also have some new programs to share with you. We offer programs for grades K-12, aligned to the Georgia Performance Standards to help you meet your curriculum goals. You can view a listing of our available programs here:

In addition, we are happy to work with you to create a program for your students to fit your individual group’s needs. Feel free to contact us to request a presentation on a specific topic. If you are looking for a fun way to get your students and fellow teachers involved in environmental education, consider participating in our Cobb County Green School program. The program is free, it is a great way to have your school’s efforts recognized by the community, and we can help you get there along with our partners: Cobb County Watershed Stewardship, Cobb County Parks and Recreation, and Keep Cobb Beautiful. Visit our website to learn more about this great opportunity! www.cobbwater.org/greenschool.htm
We would like to wish you and your students all the best in the coming year, and we look forward to hearing from you.
Sincerely,
Amy Warnock
