Starlab Reservation Form & Resources

Teachers may reserve the Starlab Planetariums to use at their schools during the school year.  Reservations are completed on a first come first serve basis.  To make a reservation for your school, please download and complete the Starlab Request form below.  To view available dates to reserve the Starlab, please click on the Starlab Schedule link on the left hand navigation.

Each Starlab costs $20,000.00.  For this reason we only check out the starlabs to teachers who have completed a Starlabs Basics training course.  A Starlab training was held over the summer and during pre-planning. The Chatt Nature Center has developed a program where their trained personnel go out to schools and conduct the Starlab visit for classes or they can train teachers to use the starlabs.  There would be  a fee involved for this service.  Want more details?  Download their programming options below.

Additionally Debbie Lanier, AKA - Nana Nature, is also available to come out to schools to conduct the starlab visits for classes.  You may contact her directly to schedule her support at

Starlab Audio Resources

Sherry Trimble, Fair Oaks ES, created the following tracks to use with students inside the starlab.  There are stories associated with different constellations.  Many teachers asked for a "CD" they could play to students inside the starlab.  So, here you go.  Thanks Sherry!
