GaDOE is hosting TeacherTALKs for Math I, Accelerated Math I, and Math Support for teachers on Block and Traditional Schedules. These TALKs will be held at 4:00pm at different times throughout the year.
These sessions are available for high school math teachers to share information across the state.
The directions for accessing recordings, and ElluminateLIVE! access information is found on the training page of GeorgiaStandards.Org.

How to Let Students Enroll in Your Online Classroom Environment

Teachers Online Collaborative Environment
For Teachers Only:
·Log into PICASSO, click on My
Homepage in far upper right corner --> Edit your information.
·Fill
out your last name, first name, and email (I think that is all that is
required) and save changes.
·Click
“Online Classroom” toward the top of the page.
·At
the bottom of the page, click on your name or badge number, whatever shows
up under You are logged in as ... then click on Edit Profile and fill
in the red required fields. You also need to put a word or two
in the description field. (This is viewable to all users)
·To
ensure the calendar is accurate, set you time zone to Server’s Local Time (at
the bottom of the list).
·Click
Update profile button.
·Click
on PICASSO in "bread-crumb trail" in upper left corner.
·Click
on the name of your collaborative environment, High School Math
Teachers. It is listed under Central Office --> C&I.
·The
first time, you will be asked to enter a key. (The key for this course is math)
·Click
Enroll me in this course (author of the software is from Australia which is why
enroll is spelled enrol).
·From
now on, to enter the course, login to PICASSO --> click on Online Classroom
in the left column --> Click on class name, High School Math Teachers.
